About Me
Rhianny Bautista
I'm a high school student from Harlem, New York, navigating life with curiosity and honesty. I care deeply about social justice, mental health, and the stories that often go untold. Growing up as an Afro-Latina in a predominantly white school taught me early on about identity, resilience, and the importance of treating everyone with respect, no matter their background. I've learned to question things, stand up for what matters, and use my voice to shine a light on experiences that deserve to be seen. I love using photography to showcase places I often overlook for their beauty, things I don't notice right away, or moments that simply need to be highlighted. I use writing to express and expand on what I often cannot capture in my photographs alone. Through this space, I share my perspective on the world and the moments that shape who I'm becoming.
"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some compassion, some humor, and some style." - Maya Angelou
